I definitely see the pros and cons to reading out loud. At first, I didn't like reading out loud by myself, but when I read out loud to someone else (my roommate LOL), I became more passionate and active about it, which made it a lot better. I think it's because that gave me a purpose to reading out loud, and I enjoyed it a lot more. When I was reading out loud by myself, I felt a little weird, and I felt like I was reading too slow. In the future, I may read out loud to someone else, but most likely not when I'm alone.
