Famous Last Words: 4-Day Week 😊

First off, we had Monday off which was fantastic! The week definitely felt shorter and went by quicker! The readings this week were good. The only thing about it was that we were given options of modules to choose and read, which was very difficult for me! I didn't want to make a bad choice and miss out on some great readings! I started off with Women Saints but then switched to Saints and Animals, which I really enjoyed! I'd never heard of any of the saints I read about, so it was a learning experience. Then, I did the extra credit reading where we got to choose any module to read, again a very hard decision. I chose Indian Fairy Tales, and it was great!

I was really impressed with other people's stories, and I look forward to reading more of them! Looking at the blog stream, there are so many things that catch my eye! But sadly, I don't have enough time to go through and read everything. I'm really glad that we do commenting assignments where we get to read other people's work. I think that's one of my favorite things to do for this class. Although sometimes getting to the word limit is a little challenging, haha.

My other classes have still been in the beginning phases, nothing too bad. I have my first test next week though, so we'll see how that goes. I need to start studying 😅. Oh, and club meetings start next week too! Pre-Med Club on Monday, and Pre-Medical Women's Society on Tuesday! It's going to be a busy week, but I'm looking forward to it!

So moving to real world news, it was a sad, rough week. Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Hurricane Irma in Florida, and the ending of DACA. Hopefully, things start looking up. I'm praying for y'all!

Look back in forgiveness; forward in hope!
