The Psychology of Checklists by Lauren Marchese - I am definitely that Type A person, and I've got the checklists, sticky notes, and agenda to prove it. I think I manage my time pretty well. I like to work ahead, instead of keeping things for the last minute. However, I must admit, it does happen at times. I like how this article talked about "SMART" goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound.
You Say Multitasking Like It’s a Good Thing by Charles J. Abaté - This was an interesting read. I'm not a big multitasker. The most I can do is eat and watch TV at the same time. When it comes to homework, it's rare for me to be able to concentrate and even listen to music.
11 Ways Unsuccessful People Mismanage Their Time by Áine Cain - Don't get easily distracted. That's my biggest takeaway from this article. I think that's one of my biggest problems when doing homework or studying. After a while, I get tired or bored, and I shift to something else: talking to my roommates, getting on Facebook, etc. This only lasts for a few minutes, but sometimes it's hard to get back in the zone to study.
