Reading Notes: Man on the Moon & Eight-Forked Serpent

Origins - The Man on the Moon - blacksmith → stone → stone-cutter → sun → moon
The man changes forms many times. He complains about being too hot, being in pain, being tired, being hot again, and once again being hot. He wishes to return to a blacksmith, but is denied. So now, he is stuck as the moon, but then what? Could possibly write about his numerous complaints as the moon..?

The Divine - The Eight-Forked Serpent of Koshi - Susa-no-wo defeats the Serpent after he transforms Kushinada-hime into a comb and puts her in his hair. Could retell the story, but this time the comb (the girl) plays a role in the fight between Susa-no-wo and the Serpent (Orochi).
