The Story of a Parrot - in this story, the wife is angry with the parrot, so she tricks him into thinking it rained and stormed. When the husband returned and talked to the parrot, the parrot said that it was storming. The husband thought he was lying so killed him. I would change the story so that the husband finds out what the wife did and does not kill the parrot.

Also, the storytelling manner of The Arabian Nights is something to keep in mind for the project. They way stories have stories inside them is very interesting.
