Introduction to a girl who wants to make a difference 🙋

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Justus, and I'm a senior 😊🎓 I am a Chemical Biosciences major with a minor in Psychology, and I hope to become a physician. My favorite part of college is living in an apartment with my roommates. They're the best, and we have a bunch of fun together, mainly playing Pictionary. Photo I took of the four of us in September 2016 The past three years, I was given the amazing opportunity to be a teacher at Good Tidings Vacation Bible School (VBS). As a child, every year I went and had fun, and now, being a teacher is one of the best experiences I've had. I usually teach pre-k or kindergarten (they're the cutest). This year I taught the kindergarten class, and one of my students accepted Jesus as his Savior. This honestly made me so happy, and I still smile when I think about it. Week 4 Story: Cupid's Love Story

A long time ago, Venus, the god of love, was jealous of a mortal. It was a classic story of Snow White. Venus was jealous that a girl (Psyche) on earth was being compared to her beauty. She had to get rid of her, and she called on her son, Cupid. Cupid was the right deity for the job! He was always bringing havoc to people; ruining budding romances, steady partners, and even strong marriages. And he had his pick of women for his own pleasure.Venus ordered Cupid to ruin Psyche's life. "Trap her in a terrible marriage with some old, ugly guy. Then I will be the 'fairest of them all' again, no contest." Cupid went out to find Psyche, intending to do just as his mother had asked. However, things took a slight turn when he laid eyes on her.
